Overview: This project focused on understanding the motivation and challenges faced by pediatricians, gynecologists, and anesthesiologists working in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Using qualitative research methods—including In-Depth Interviews (IDI) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD)—the study explored key factors influencing medical professionals' willingness to serve in underserved regions. The findings aimed to inform policy and programmatic interventions to strengthen rural healthcare delivery.
